Columbia University professor Lincoln Mitchell will give a talk about and sign copies of his book, Three Years Our Mayor: George Moscone and the Making of Modern San Francisco. Pacific alumnus George Moscone '53 COP changed the political landscape of San Francisco and California during his time in the California State Senate and his short tenure as mayor of San Francisco, before he was assassinated with Harvey Milk in 1978.
